As the end approached, the saints of heaven sang. “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed” (3b-4).
Great and marvelous are your deeds… our God is an active God, alive, and for His people.
Just and true are your ways… our God is honest and His actions and judgments are built on truth and meet out justice.
For you along are holy… our God is holy, perfect, righteous. His ways are above our human ways. He is the Lord!
All nations will come and worship you… from the beginning it has been Your goal for all nations to worship and adore You. And now as the time of fulfillment comes close, Your goal will be fulfilled.
Your righteous acts have been revealed…
Lord, I long to see Your righteous acts revealed. Come, Lord Jesus. Come, Holy Spirit, rule this earth/world/universe. Show us Your power and might that our understanding of You might be full and complete. Halleluiah. Amen.
