Wednesday, October 29: Revelation 14- One final offer.

The account of the end is moving toward its climax, and yet God gives one more offer of salvation. It is the proverbial 11th hour and the Lord is once again, this time for the final time, offering words of salvation to any who would turn and believe.

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water (6-7).”

This reminded me of Jesus’ parable of workers in the vineyard.  This is where the owners went out in the morning at the 9th, 12th and fifth hours to get more workers, and yet they all get paid the same amount. God is offering salvation –free and full– to anyone who would believe, even now, as the final judgment is being prepared.

Why risk it? Why wait? If you are reading this, why not say ‘Yes’ to Jesus? Accept the truths of His Gospel. Worship the Father, worship the Son, worship the Holy Spirit… believe in the God of the Bible.

Think about it…

Lord, God, thank You for the grace to believe. Pour that grace onto the world that there would be a great harvest of belief among people who right now are still opposed to You. I pray this is Jesus’ name. Amen.
