This morning and the last
few days we have been reading about all the details of the tabernacle and the
priests and their garments. Exacting detail and highly specific instructions.
And there will be more instructions to come…
In verses 45-46, we gain a
glimpse of what God is up to and why He is giving all this explanation, detail
and instruction. Then I will dwell among the
Israelites and be their God. They will know that I am the LORD their God, who
brought them out of Egypt
The Lord is prepping a
sinful people for the arrival of a Holy and Perfect God. And with His coming
they will know the LORD their God
and all He has done for them.
God is revealing Himself to
them in the symbolism and worship of their faith!
Last week, culminating two
days ago on Easter, we celebrated God’s continuing story and the ultimate
deliverance God brought in Jesus Christ –the One and Only Son and Savior of the
world!
Do you believe? Are you
following Jesus? Through faith in Jesus, the Lord God Almighty continues to
indwell His people with His presence so that they will know and serve
Him.

Praise to the
Lord, the Almighty the King of Creation! O my soul, praise Him for He is my Help
and Salvation!
