Monday, July 22: Romans 11– Time for doxology…

There are some times when God being great, awesome, and so beyond our comprehension that prose simply cannot capture our thoughts.
Paul breaks into poetry, into song as the first section of Romans closes. God is so big and the wonder of salvation so great that Paul’s heart and mine must simply sing.
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
"Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?"
"Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay him?"
For from him and through him and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen (33-36).

Praise to the Lord the Almighty the King of creation.  O my soul sings for You are our help and salvation!
All you who hear, now to his presence draw near. Join me in glad adoration!
Alleluia to our God --Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
